5/5 Stars NC Mom says: I just bought a used version of this same toy, and my 2-1/2 year old daughter loves it! She connects the blocks together to make "train tracks", sticks the gears into the blocks and spins them with her fingers, and even enjoys figuring out how to fit everything back in the plastic box we use to store it in. I'm sure this is a toy that will grow with her, as she begins to build more complex gear systems.

I love that it allows her to be creative, and the toy itself is pretty to look at, too. The blocks are also flexible enough for small fingers. I'm so happy with it that I'm considering buying another set (at full price) so she'll be able to build even bigger gear structures. An all-around great toy!
4/5 Stars The Egyptian! says: The toy is nice. The base pieces may not be as many as you would like to expand it more. my kid (3 yrs old) liked but I did most of the design :) It might be more expensive than I'd estimate it.
4/5 Stars Virginia E. Farrell says: We've enjoyed this toy, but it hasn't held their attention as long as I would have liked. My 4 year old is interested, but it is over quickly. I gave this a high rating because I think he will really love it in the near future when he can get more into the sophistication of the toy.

My main issue is that the white pegs that hold the gears to the blocks bend and break easily. Georello sends many extras with the pack, so it's not too much of an issue yet. I would say a definite yes for kids around the ages of 5-6, especially builders!
4/5 Stars Piyush Balan says: it took me some time to introduce this to my 2 yr old son and get him interested. but once he got the hang of it ..both father and son would spend hours on this..and hacing fun at the same time.

he's understood the fundamentals and now uses his own imagination and combination to play with this toy.

I see this as a long time to-companion for my son and hope to get versions for bigger kids as and when he starts growing up.

it was worth the time and effort that I spent alone on the toy in order to show my son how it works !
5/5 Stars Nikki says: My 4 year old son loves, loves, loves this toy. In fact we just bought him a second set because he wanted MORE GEARS. It is colorful, sturdy, creative, easy to use, and very educational. My son loves interlocking the gears and figuring out which gear "locks it up" if they suddenly won't spin. My 1 year old loves watching the bright gears spin around too! I would recommend this to anyone. It also has several expansion sets, so you can keep adding on and increasing the complexity as your child gets older. Two BIG thumbs up from our family!
