5/5 Stars Dad of 2 says: I bought this camera for my 4 and 5 year olds and they love it! I've never seen them so involved in taking pictures and video. (You will need to buy the SD card if using a lot of video.) Two reasons I chose this camera for the kids...1) it has an LCD screen right on the camera so kids can view their picture immediately 2)It plugs right in to the TV to watch their video or view their pictures. No messing with the computer. Keep in mind, this camera is not good if you plan on printing pictures, but for fun and play, this camera works.

5/5 Stars S. A. Richardson says: I am generally a huge fan of Crayola products. So, I purchased the Crayola kids digital camera and the camcorder, one for ea. of my daughters (2 yrs. and 3 yrs.) at Christmas. At the same time, my 3 yr. old received the V-tech as a gift from someone else. This camera easily outshines the Crayola. It's got 3x the functionality (takes digital pictures, movies, and has simple games) and takes great pictures in all light settings that we can actually share. The Crayola flash is way too powerful and every picture comes out white with no definition. They're in the same price range, but this one is far superior for the money.
4/5 Stars Shane says: This camera was a Christmas present for my 2 year old daughter, who loves to play with my digital camera. This toy is a hit with her. She loves taking pictures with it. She took about 380 within the first 2 hours of opening it!

On the plus side: This camera is durable enough for a 2 year old's mishandling and dropping. The handles and buttons are easy enough for her to use and she has even figured out how to put the comic inserts into the pictures. With a pair of lithium batteries, the camera will work for a long time. The auto shutoff is a great feature.

On the minus side: 2 megapixel is pathetic, the shots blur easily, and the flash is useless. It is tough to get a good indoor shot. Also, there is really no need to have the two viewfinders with the video screen down below, I don't even think my daughter has considered using them.

All in all though, a good kid's camera. One that we may not get good pictures from, but she is enjoying it immensely.
5/5 Stars M. Byrd says: I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter for Christmas 2008. After opening it, she had a blast taking pictures of everyone! She loved the extra features included and had "bunny ears" (cartoon version) on her aunt's picture and a "pig's nose" on her uncle's picture, she had several of us on "stage" with opened curtains, etc. She's had alot of fun with it, and it's given her experience with a camera. I like that the camera seems to be made very sturdy - just right for little hands, and could probably withstand a few accidental drops. There are 2 viewing windows, which makes it much easier for little ones to see what they are taking pictures of. She's getting better at taking pictures all the time, and it seems like she has played with this Christmas gift more than any other she's received. I got this at a fantastic price ($40 & free SS shipping - ariving in only a few days). So my granddaughter and I are both very pleased with this purchase.
5/5 Stars Tulabell says: My 4 year old daughter got this camera for Christmas and it has been a lot of fun this week for both of us playing with all the extras like games, photo editor, and puzzles. My camera has had a broken display for some time so she hasn't been able to play with mine for a while and has always loved to snap and see the pictures we take in an instant. What's great about this gift is that it is very kid sturdy and is designed just for her keeping her occupied for hours on end. And don't forget that it's pink!

I admit that she and I have spent a good deal of time using the Photo Editor to make funny faces out of her brother and our pet dog, but we have also made some pretty cool edits that turned out "scrapbook worthy." (If that is even considered a term.) All in all I think it has brought out some new creativity in her. In fact she takes it every where we go, kind of like a photo journalist. It has been a hoot!
