Crayola Glow Station can create with Light! |
Customer Reviews:
3/5 Stars C. Brown says: This toy is better played in the dark and hanging on a wall. My daughter is 11 yrs old and it's a great past time for her at night to keep from going to sleep. I personally do not see any educational value, but I do not play with it. Not sure how durable it is because it hangs on her wall, only time will tell. 1/5 Stars M. Alcazar says: The box shows a drawing of a planet and a rocket ship along with some stars. This drawing was impossible for me to make. I'd draw the planet but before I finished the rocket ship (going as fast as I could) the planet had completely dissappeared, never mind adding the special tip and putting on stars.
My 5 year old daughter saw the commercials for this and it was the only thing she asked Santa to bring her. She was dissappointed with it and we took it back. She liked the Color Explosion Glow Board better. 3/5 Stars Letisha Leahy says: I did not expect much from this toy as several similar products never seem to measure up to what they advertise, but i was very surprised. The glow is very bright and my children love playing with this. I would recommend this product you just need to find a dark place to hang it. 5/5 Stars plyopowerd says: My 7-year-old got this for Christmas, and that night, I hung it on the wall opposite her bed. After I tucked her in and turned out the light, I wrote "Good Night!" in large script and dotted a bunch of stars around it. She loved it and now insists that I do it every night! So for starting a new bedtime "tradition" that makes her eager to get in bed and turn out the light, I give this toy 5 stars. I agree with the others who say that it's best you take the marker away (I use it on our dry erase memo board). Also, the board is folded up in the box and doesn't lay completely flat. It needs to be hung on a wall (otherwise the little stencils fall out) and needs total darkness to work. 5/5 Stars Brian Templeton says: Absolutely brilliant. We hung it by the bed, and tell bedtime stories with it. Simple idea, executed well.
